GREENSBORO, N.C., September 5, 2024 – TCDI is proud to announce that we’ve recently become an official signatory of the “4+1 Commitment,” an initiative led by Hiring Our Heroes and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to enhance employment opportunities for military spouses.
The “4+1 Commitment” provides a clear framework for supporting military spouses in the workforce. The cornerstone of this voluntary program is to highlight companies that provide specific workplace accommodations, such as remote work, flexible hours, or paid Permanent Change of Station (PCS) leave, while also encouraging participation in additional government spouse employment programs.
This pledge is yet another way TCDI demonstrates support for the military spouse community, which all started in 2018 with the emergence of our Military Spouse Managed Review (MSMR) program. TCDI has created and continually nurtures a working environment that supports and advances the careers of military spouses in the legal community. In addition, we’ve expanded our efforts beyond hiring practices to help connect these talented individuals with other like-minded organizations by working closely with Hiring Our Heroes and the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) program.
